WP 3 - Software Platform Design and Development
WP 5 - Application, Micro-level P-management

As MOVE ON we are an agtech startup revolutionizing sustainable agriculture with AI-driven technologies. We tackle inefficiencies, excessive use of chemicals and limited traceability in traditional, non-digital farming through our MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform and autonomous kits. Unlike conventional satellite imagery companies, we provide a cost-effective, AI-powered optimization solution that seamlessly integrates artificial intelligence with agriculture. Our team, composed of both farmers and engineers, embodies our registered motto: “Our hands on the keyboard, feet on the field.”

1. Provision of the crop production land where the Use Case will be implemented.
2. Market research and business model design.
3. Dissemination activities.
4. Micro-level use cases

Tabit, as a social enterprise, carries the mission to strengthen smallholder farmers by increasing their productivity, profitability, and quality of life. To achieve its mission, Tabit adapts agricultural technologies to use of smallholder farmers, disseminates new technologies, run private sector projects, provides consultancy to municipalities and governments regarding agricultural policy making, and designs new business models.

As of May 2025, Tabit is
- and a 20k-hectare agricultural production facility in the middle of Sahara Desert (called Smart Oasis),
- developing the Farmer AI (called AgriGo AI),
- running Women Stars of Agriculture Project with Yıldız Holding,
- providing learning programs to women farmers on Financial Literacy, AI, Ecological Literacy, and Entrepreneurship,
- running Tabit Smart Village as the agricultural R&D facility
beyond participating AgApp-e project.

Ciências ULisboa will connect data, models, and real soil conditions to analyse phosphate flows and pools, including organic forms and their link to carbon sequestration. Using soil reflectance to determine phosphatase activity, Ciências will help estimate the potential flow of phosphate from unavailable organic pools to soluble forms. This will support decisions on the optimal balance between inorganic phosphate fertilizers and biofertilizers, such as arbuscular mycorrhiza and phosphate-mobilizing bacteria. Bioavailable phosphate is a global limiting factor for crop productivity, despite soils holding large amounts in unavailable forms. Unlocking this potential can reduce fertilizer dependency and positively impact soil organic matter, water retention, carbon sequestration, and overall soil health. A strategic calibration plan is essential to ensure digital technologies can reliably detect phosphate availability under these complex conditions.

The Faculty is an institution of creation, transmission and diffusion of scientific and technological knowledge that promotes a culture of permanent learning, valuing critical thinking and intellectual autonomy.

Soilvitae is responsible for implementing field-level activities within the Portuguese use case, acting as a liaison between the project and end users. With a mission to promote more sustainable farming through natural solutions, Soilvitae focuses on reducing input dependency—particularly fertilizers—while improving efficiency. These goals align closely with the project’s objectives, especially regarding phosphate use and management.

At Soilvitae, our product design strategy is based on the exploration of the scientific knowledge to stimulate communication, cooperation and complementarity among living organisms (mainly microbes and plants) to find tailored solutions for specific problems. This approach enables us to isolate, screen and select efficient microbial consortia and microbial compounds in a highly effective way., with the aim of contributing to a more sustainable food production system.
